ABOUT US   EWMI, established in 1988, is a public charity headquartered in New York City. It is staffed with leading development professionals from around the world with extensive experience in strengthening civil societies and leading legal reform initiatives. It also draws on experts from the United States and abroad, especially from the countries in which we work, to design and lead our programs. EWMI’s work has been funded by USAID, the World Bank, the US Department of State, and multiple private foundations.
